There's an episode with King Charles at the Repair Shop, back when he was still Prince. It was a special episode for the BBC centenary. I tried to find full episodes but I could only find it on BBC iPlayer! I would recommend watching full episodes, maybe even one of the Christmas specials

2025-07-24 03:37:31 +0000 UTCYou should definitely check out an entire episode. Part of the emotion is from the people bringing in the items and explaining the story behind the item. At the end there's a big reveal, which sometimes can be really emotional for the owners. This clip pretty much omitted those parts, which is essentially what makes the show so good.

Sentimental items I have are: From my nan: A brass rocking horse ornament that she always said would be mine when she died (My brother has a brass aeroplane one) from my grandad: 'Banjie Bear' - A stuffed toy panda with bandages on it that I got him when he was in hospital when I was a young kid. He kept it for years and when he and my nan passed, I was given it. Not yet got: From my Dad: His record collection - his prized possessions, he's very music driven and it means a lot to him and for him to say they are mine when he goes is a big honour. His Allan Clarke stocking tag from the 1972 FA Cup Final We do also have some engravings on our gate at my Dads where my Grandad engraved all our initials and the date when he stayed with us after he was released from prison (long story) which is always cool to see whenever I go visit my dad
