i know its not too exaggerated here, not many things are far behind enough for the effect to be appreciated enough.

games feel awkward since they cant track where your eyes are looking, so it doesnt feel natural, more like, it feels forced. as a still image, it can add a lot to it
2019-08-27 03:15:50 +0000 UTCMy only real experience viewing Depth of Field is with videogames, and it's something I always turn off. Games are notoriously bad at realizing what you want to focus on, blurring stuff is just aggregating, and it takes MORE process power to blur things than to just leave it... That said, where you have full control like this can indeed augment an image, by drawing attention.
