My Mom and I went out yesterday and walked around the track at the local school a bunch of times. She wanted to test the accuracy of her pedometer, and she wanted to try out her new walking poles. The walking poles seem pretty nifty. I'll admit I just use the pedometer on my phone, and don't worry at all about how accurate it is. My Mom, however, was a gym teacher and she's very concerned about precision and exact milage and how far this or that distance is. I absolutely don't get it but it was fun to do the walking, and I planted a lot of Pikmin flowers.
They've got a bunch of tall bright lights over the track--at night I can see them over the horizon from my studio windows. On foggy nights, it looks like aliens are landing. I'd never been actually under them before, it was really neat because the sky beyond the light was dark blue and cloudy just after sunset and it gave the whole World an eerie air.
Anyhow, here's the page, I'll have the colors up when I can!
Thanks--
