Today I thought it would be fun to show you some sketches from a thing Phil and I have been amusing ourselves with. It's a bunch of D&D-flavored cats. A dungeon clowder. A bunch of puurdurr hoboes. Phil loves cats and always has fun drawing them, and I love his cat drawings. I don't know what we're going to do with these guys just yet, probably some cute pins or something, and these are very initial sketches, but I thought you'd like to see the whole thing as we work on it. Don't worry, we're not likely to take another bunch of months off Girl Genius to go on another dungeon crawl, but that's where our heads have been lately.
Also, King Krosp needs subjects. Cat subjects, I mean. I have some ideas about their characters, especially the cat god the cleric serves. That staff has a can opener on the end. It's how you get the cat god's attention.
Ok, I've got some writing to do, so I'd best be off, I hope you like the silly kitties.

Cats cats cats! r/catsplayingdnd will no doubt love them when they go public. Thankyou for explaining the can opener, it didn't make sense.

2023-08-25 16:43:53 +0000 UTCPanel 6 reminds me of Bunstable, even though the circumstances are completely different. But it's as if it's dangerous to get too close to fundamental truths. Or, I guess, too close but not all the way. Although rescuing Mechanicsburg is more important right now than understanding flames, I wonder why Albia thought it necessary to engage in this bait and switch. Couldn't she have said "Let's talk about how you'll use Prende's Lantern to rescue Mechanicsburg"? Agatha would have jumped at that, I should think.
