Edit: I noticed the knitting needles, but didn't notice the hand that was holding them! Fortunately, Cheyenne noticed. Marvel at his skillful edits! He re-drew Dimo's mechanical hand because we were dingy and forgot about it. All hail Cheyenne Wright!

Early yet again! I'll post the colors here when they're ready.

One interesting point about this drawing: as I was lettering it I said to Phil "Those are the wrong needles for knitting socks. Also he should have at least three of them." So Phil decided he needed to alter the art. You'll see it in the final. One probably can knit socks with the needles shown in panel one, but there are easier ways, and I think Dimo would know them. I like circular needles, myself, and I don't knit socks, so I'm certainly no expert.

On Sunday I was cleaning the sink and my lower back went "zing!" which has made this week "fun." I've been skipping martial arts practice (we've been doing it via Zoom.) Fortunately it's been getting better, because today we took the dog to the vet for her long-awaited surgery, and it was an absolute circus. She's home and very sleepy. Poor old lady. She didn't want to get out of the car, and we had to sling a towel under her back end to help her walk into the house. Also the back of the van now looks like we were transporting a murder victim. I'll get the blood off the walls later, today I was completely wiped out.

So that's been our week of adventure. Also, the trees in Seattle have been turning pink and fluffy, and it's absolutely lovely. I hope it's a great weekend for everyone!
