I got my second shot, and this time I didn't even have to drive an hour out to Puyallup to get it. We went down to Lumen Field, and it was a beautiful warm day and everyone was happy and cheery and the air smelled amazing from all the food vendors. Also, we had a celebrity sighting, we spotted our favorite goth and her husband in line as we passed a window. (They didn't see us...or did they?)

Late point of order here, but are the prevailing winds in Girl Genius Europa opposite of reality? I would think without fuel, they'd drift slowly over the arctic until the cold caused the gas to lose its buoyancy,

2021-05-19 08:37:21 +0000 UTCI'd guess that the former captain wasn't exactly in a cognitive state, but the wasp in the former captain understood whose side they were on. That said, what the captain thought or didn't think isn't particularly relevant to how safe landing would be. It doesn't even matter what the bad guys told the captain, assuming that they told the captain anything. It's all what the person on the ground with the lamp will think that matters. As a general rule, though, if your opponent can completely stop time whenever they want, your only real viable option to beating them is to do it before they realize you're around.

2021-05-18 10:11:41 +0000 UTCWell, what they want to believe is that the ship is landing without suspecting that they're about to get frozen in time and killed. Presumably the former captain didn't want to be killed, nor to lose his crew. So it's only our team that the bad guys want to kill. So our team should leave the ship, and then /it should land/. That's my prediction anyway.
