Seattle is gearing up for a massive heatwave this weekend. I'm lucky to live in a reasonably cool pocket of the city, but I worry about some of the other folks out there. I also bought a few cheap electric fans about two months ago, since I am very much a penguin pining for the fjords; not a hot-weather person at all. Which makes it a bit strange how much I love Australia, I guess. I'm just a whirl of contradictions.
I've got gingerbread dough in the back of the fridge that I mixed up last December. It still seems ok, I'm going to bake some of it up and see what happens. If it doesn't kill me, I'll let you know how it is.
