Added 2021-08-30 04:20:05 +0000 UTCI'm feeling a lot better! It's a good thing, too, because my youngest kid starts school again in a few days. Today we went out and bought some school supplies, apparently along with half of Seattle.
I've got a didgeridoo here that we picked up second-hand a long time ago, and I've just got a new wax mouthpiece on it. So I've been trying to learn how to play it. I've managed to learn how to get a proper (if weak) beginner's noise out of it, but I run out of breath far too quickly. Something else to learn. Thank goodness for Youtube videos, and hey, it's good for lung capacity!
I have learned one other thing: the cats hate it. From what I understand, cats have no place in Australia, so maybe cats not liking didgeridoo music is a good thing? They're apparently terrible for the wildlife and eat all the bilbies. I love my cats, but I also love the bilbies. Here's a link to a google search for pictures of bilbies. I wish we had them here.
