Clarification on the Webtoon thing, my intention was to start with book one and play with the format to match the kind of thing they do there, serializing it a little at a time. It won't affect anything about the main page or the way things already are, it's just an extra. It'll also be like twenty years behind the main story, so yeah...it's a side revamp for a new audience.

Today I spent some time figuring out Webtoons.com. I'm mostly hoping to get the story in front of more people, and that's a pretty nice place to post. I'm going to have to reformat the story for the vertical webtoon style, which sounds kind of fun.

Tomorrow I'm going to have to write a Kickstarter update to explain that no, I don't know every country's laws about import duty and no, we have never been responsible for that, and by the way, most backers, especially international ones, paid less in shipping than it cost me to send their stuff. Some of them up to half as much, International shipping is brutal. Also, marking the packages as "gifts" constitutes smuggling, which is not a profession I want to get into. I am not looking forward to writing all this, because I understand that some people got hit with high duty taxes this time around for some reason. Next time I'm going to steal Steve Jackson's language on the matter--the stuff he puts at the bottom of his campaigns. Ours just had a small note that said something about individual countries may have additional duties. So yeah, I need to make that more clear. Chris was having a fine time fielding the requests to mark things as "gifts."

Sorry to vent. In other news, I signed up with Pirate Ship, (I know what I just said about smuggling, they're a legit shipping business!) and I have high hopes. I've sent off a test package to Australia using Shipstation, and I can follow the tracking number to see if it makes it to its destination. The folks at the mailbox said that the ban might be close to being lifted anyway, but I'm looking for alternatives.

Ugh. All I talk about anymore is shipping. Sorry!
