Attibute Panel: Evolution from an Artic Wolf

25 - The end of a different beginning

During all this time Luke's overall evolutionary value is also slowly increasing these days.

It is true that he had not hunted new prey these days, but even if he keeps eating repeated prey, the evolutionary value obtained which is adding up is significant.

But this is already better than nothing, eating a little can also increase the evolutionary value by three to four points per meal which generates a value that slowly but surely will open the way to the next level.

With his evolutionary points, he is a little more than halfway to the next level.

But these small steps toward level 6 leave him that much closer to achieving it.

Then, after seeing that food started to be left over again in the cave, Luke took it upon himself to give him the potions to boost his parents' stats.

It's all calculated under his simple observations:

Considering that his parents have grown up, their physique and bones have already aged. Therefore, he could imagine that the properties of the potion to increase their potential are negligible. A bad choice, two potions have been wasted.

In the results Luke could notice are better fur and increased defense. But from that, there is nothing else.

It also made your overall numerical values slightly improved.

But your potential isn't much and at his age there can't be any changes.

As for those three potions that can help him multiply the points gained, Luke plans to use them when he sees it's time to level up in their three uses.

After all, the evolution potion can increase the value of the overall evolution points obtained by three times.

In this case, you have to use it on the best prey and see if they are the only ones you will be able to get.

Luke didn't know the right way to communicate that he wanted to make his own pack, to take a different path outside of this pack. To accomplish that, Baxter will accompany him as soon as he decides to leave the cave.

As for other cubs, if his parents agree then he can consider taking as many as he would like. Of course, he wouldn't take adult wolves as their improvements would be negligible and it's not like he wanted to make the pack that saw him grow weaker either.

Luke actually tried to communicate with his father, as to whether he understood what he meant is a mystery. But after engaging in that communication, his father was silent throughout the day.

As for his mother, she stood by him giving him affection so that he would stay within the manda, or so Luke thought.

But he could feel it, he knew his parents didn't want him to leave. Although his father was tough and fearful that his son would decide to challenge him, he cared very much for all the puppies and had always tried to take care of them.

But he also knew that his son was bigger, a better hunter, stronger and smarter than all the wolves and that would affect his leadership.

So, Luke, as a wolf who can become a loner until recently that Baxter accompanied him to hunt, decided to leave the pack.

In case there really is an incomprehensible gap between his father and himself in the future.

But even if they were not in the same cave, it is clear that he will take care of his pack as the pack will take care of him, his parents in this life are very precious and if he does this it is because he really cares about the stability of the pack.

However, he also wants to explore in more dangerous environments and leave the cave without being questioned or having someone worry about him. Also, the cave he will be living in from now on is about fifteen kilometers from where his parents live.

If something were to happen, he could give his parents help at all times. In addition, he will be able to visit them and bring him food from time to time.

The dominant wolf of the alpha pack knew what his son wanted to do, he did it himself with his father's pack. But if it affected him now, it was because his son was not even a year old when he was born. How could he say goodbye to his cub who barely had any memory of him?

But he knew he couldn't hold him back, so after approving of what Luke wanted to do, his son howled with approval.

When Luke instinctively understood that his father had agreed, those who decided to accompany him were evidently his sister, the little gray wolf, the wolf girl and his most faithful follower, Baxter.

"Follow me whoever you want!" Luke roared into the cave wanting to express his thoughts.

As he watched these pups move forward, Luke knew the connection between these pups was unique.

The wolf girl who was fed by Luke when the pack didn't along with the gray wolf had no problem following him.

After all, Luke has been taking care of them for as long as they can remember.

It's just that many are unwilling to leave the cave, many want to stay with their parents and not wander away from the pack. Luke wanted his sister to stay, but she bit him by the tail and refused to let go until he decided to take her.

Luke for his part, did not want to move away from the pack, let alone separate the group, but he has a different way of acting and moving in this world. In the future, he knows that his intentions are to create a powerful enough pack to dominate the entire arctic in an extended domination system.

For this, he will need strong followers who will serve him perfectly in all his orders they receive. Therefore, he has no choice but to take wolves that have above average potential.

With this, Luke looked at his mother who was too sad. The mother of the gray wolf was also devastated and gave affection to her cub for a long time, wanting to remember the scent of her pups and never forget them.

From Luke's understanding, the wolf girl who cared for the pups is a year old, during this time with the help of potions and enough food, she has a level three and above average overall basic attributes.

Her ability to withstand this parting was much better, but after cuddling with her mother for a while, she followed Luke.

As for the little gray wolf, he snuggled with his mother for a much longer time.

In the end, it was Baxter who howled twice impatiently and finally his pillow came to his side.

It was all over.

A group of five cubs from the pack of uneven age emerged from the cave.

This time their real adventure began, an adventure that would span the entire Arctic continent.

"I'll always take care of you parents, I'll take care of my sister and make sure you eat well!"

"Auuuuuuuuu!"

...

Roar!

On the way, Baxter was very excited.

They were finally about to go to a new cave and start their real adventure.

There is also a whole arctic reindeer stored in the cave, when he thought of that delicious food, Baxter was salivating with excitement.

But the wolf girl, the older girl and the little gray wolf who first came out of the cave, plus Luke's sister, all were very curious about what was coming.

The wolf girl was jumping, playing in the snow and chewing on the bushes and grass along the path.

That pair of wolf eyes, she was curious about everything around her.

Seeing a bush, she tried to climb it, but fell several times in her attempts.

With a low howl, they all followed Luke in a straight line.

Luke's sister and the gray wolf, although also excited and full of eagerness to discover this whole new world, decided to first follow close behind Luke and not run carelessly like the wolf girl.

After the wolf girl returned to the line, Baxter howled at her twice to signal her to be careful.

After all, in the icy, snowy wilderness, there could be danger hiding anywhere. Baxter knows this better than anyone, which is why he follows close behind Luke, who provided reassurance.

Since it was the cubs' first time out of the cave, Luke gave them a safe tour to familiarize them with the environment outside.

At the end of the tour, Luke took them to the new cave.

For this new cave the path is really very dangerous and difficult to climb.

Luke's sister can barely climb by herself, as for Baxter, when she climbed up she was already really exhausted.

As for the wolf girl and the gray wolf, they just looked at the back of the pack and howled depressed.

In the end, Luke led them up one by one.

...

The new cave was very spacious, large and had a sort of cave of its own further back that Luke took as his personal resting place.

As for the more open space, everyone found their own place to sleep as they familiarize themselves with the cave.

Luke gave an order to Baxter to drag the Arctic Reindeer carcass to the center of the cave.

The Arctic Reindeer carcass, stored in a cave for several days, was frozen.

The fur is also covered with a thin layer of frost.

But wolves are not at all capricious, as soon as the Arctic Reindeer was agreed, they all found a way to eat.

But following the rules Luke had set for them, his sister and Baxter were the ones who ate first.

This time, Luke gave a name to each of those he hadn't considered close enough to go to the trouble of calling them by name.

In his pack, Baxter is the beta and the second strongest wolf, his sister although she doesn't stand out much now he will call her Ondina, a truly beautiful name.

As for the gray wolf he decided to call Ardad, who would be considered now as the beta, he watched from the side the food.

The wolf girl who was named now Anie, stood watching the entrance of the cave as if her role was to keep watch.

They all had a good growth spurt and their future with Luke could be extraordinary. Only Luke knows what he wants to accomplish and how he's going to do it.

"Auuu!" Ondina looked to her brother for help to eat, after all the Arctic Reindeer was very tough.

But Luke who looked at his sister didn't decide to help her, she herself had to struggle to eat on her own. After all, he couldn't get his sister used to it.

And when Ondina realized this, she howled angrily at the sight of her brother not helping her and bit down hard on the Arctic Reindeer, tearing off large chunks of meat without her noticing.

When Baxter and Ondina finished, Luke looked to Ardad and Anie to come over to eat. Seeing that the two of them followed, they looked at Luke gratefully and began to eat.

When you come to understand how a wolf pack works internally, the idea that man is the only animal capable of living in a perfectly defined social structure becomes somewhat pretentious.

If we can get rid of the "dangerous pack" connotations that the word "pack" carries with it, Luke knew that everyone could see that, in reality, the pack is an incantation of individuals united for the sake of each other's protection.  Each wolf accepts his or her individual position in the pack, just as members of a family do.

This is why wolves are the most faithful animals, never betraying their family and pack. Therefore, now is when their journey to form a powerful pack begins. And as for the cubs who decided to follow Luke, they all think it is a good idea to follow him because of the food and because Luke is the strongest wolf they have ever met.
