Attibute Panel: Evolution from an Artic Wolf

46 - Anarhichas denticulatus

The Anarhichas denticulatus, also known as the Arctic char or wolf fish, is over a meter and a half long.

Very large.

A natural predator.

Even after swallowing a fish, it moved through the water in search of more food. Luke quickly realized it was a predator and came up with a plan based on how the fish moved. He smeared his paw with blood and then dipped it into the water.

The concentration of blood quickly spread in the water.

This made the wolf fish move towards the smell of blood. This fish has a long appearance and very fierce eyes.

It can even be considered a little supreme lord in these cold waters, so there were really few things that scared it. At this moment, it was looking for the source of the smell of blood.

But what that predator doesn't know is that on the surface of the water, there are a pair of fierce eyes that shine crimson, staring at it.

Bou!

After finding the few scales with the bloodiest smell, the northern wolf fish opened its mouth and swallowed it.

But after feeling that there was no meat, it directly vomited it. This wolf fish does not get angry for not finding its prey; this is rather an instinctive behavior of spitting out anything that is not useful to it.

Seeing that everything was over, it just moved its long body, ready to leave.

But just as it began to move, it suddenly felt that the flow of water had changed.

The senses of the wolf fish were altered, and then it saw a white hair suddenly enter the water and fiercely attack it.

The sharp claws of this predator are as sharp as a blade. Flying quickly over the sea water, it stirred up several swirls of agitated water.

The wolf fish thought it was a polar bear, but at this moment, it had no time to concentrate on anything other than its survival.

Facing this wolf's paw, the wolf fish was not afraid, so it vigorously shook its strong and powerful tail.

It was an old and very experienced fish; it had escaped from many predators in the past, so this was not much in its eyes.

But this time, it clearly underestimated the enemy.

Although its tail was powerful, and its body was experienced, this time the predator's claw was longer, sharper, and above all, faster.

Crack!

The sharper than blade claws pierced the thick scales of the wolf fish's body.

This blow was lethal, and the wolf fish was in pain, so it moved its long body flexibly in an attempt to escape. Then, it stretched its mouth, revealing a row of small fangs and fiercely biting towards the predator's paw.

Luke, who was afraid that his prey would escape, was amazed by this scene. But as expected from a predatory fish that had survived for a long time, even if it was injured, it still decided to attack.

At this moment, there was a dangerous aura in Luke's senses. He knew that this opportunity was unique, so instead of retracting his claws, he positioned them to attack that fish directly.

The sharp claws met the fangs in the mouth of the wolf fish, which had eaten an infinity of fish in this cold sea since it could remember.

The fangs in its mouth obviously couldn't bite Luke's claws, so as a result, it was stabbed by those claws, piercing its jaw.

Luke had successfully hooked his prey.

The wolf fish with its long body began to thrash violently, demonstrating a fierce struggle of resistance.

"Don't play with me!"

At that moment, the turbulent water stirred and Luke moved his left paw to subdue his prey more easily.

The water was turbulent and Luke's body swung violently. Luke's hind claws clung tightly to the ice to prevent him from falling to the ground.

As a result, it can be seen that water was the domain of the wolf fish, even if it had less strength than Luke, it should not be underestimated.

Even if its jaw had been pierced, it still fought as if nothing had happened. As the seconds passed, the exhaustion of the water became greater.

Luke's only concern at this point was that a predator like an apathetic bear would approach him from behind without Baxter reacting properly.

But as he was now hunting a very valuable prey, he did not focus on what was happening around him. As if the cold was not enough, Luke's body was now soaked in water.

This time, Luke's crimson eyes shone with a dangerous light, showing his determination not to give up.

The claws of his paws were tightly hooked onto his prey.

Both were having their fight.

The wolf fish is extremely violent, with its body over a meter and a half long, it began to wriggle violently in the water.

The tail of its body trembled wildly, and the blood caused by Luke's initial wound bled more and more.

The wolf fish could feel that imminent death was approaching. No matter how it fought, the sharp claws in its mouth simply couldn't do much damage to the predator attacking it.

In the fight, there was a premonition that its jaw was about to be torn by the claws that had it hooked.

The eyes of the wolf fish were ferocious, and its fins moved, biting Luke's paw.

But what it was biting was the dense hair of Luke's paw, not to mention his extremely tough skin.

This prevented its fangs from piercing deeply into the skin of its enemy. However, the enormous biting force of this wolf fish caused Luke pain.

And all that pain turned into anger, giving him a sinister expression in his eyes.

Rrrr!

Luke gave Baxter an order to bite his tail in case he lost his balance and fell. Communication between him and the wolves was always good, so Baxter immediately turned and gently bit Luke's tail, preparing himself in case he needed help.

Having the confidence and taking advantage of the fact that this fish had just bitten him, Luke knew he didn't have time to be in this endurance battle, so his left paw struck the fish.

The huge wolf fish, which was over a meter and a half long, was pulled directly out of the ice hole!

Boom!

After being pulled out, the huge body of the wolf fish hit the ice.

Outside of its domain, there was not much resistance. Although the wolf fish continued to struggle, this was just agony in the eyes of anyone who saw this scene.

Luke exposed his sharp teeth with an expression that even alerted the seals in the distance.

Boom!

....

With a strong blow, the layer of ice even cracked, and after not struggling anymore, a large bloodstain grew from the head of the wolf fish.

The fish's tail, which was moving frantically, also stopped moving.

And when Luke was about to be happy, he felt a slight pain and turned his face to see Baxter not letting go of his tail, so he gave him a strong blow to let go.
