53 - What food can do

At this moment, some wolves were fighting to have the most food, while the rest watched this scene calmly, as if it happened very often.

Luke's dad took the big fish his son had given him in his mouth and handed it over to where he had recently gotten food.

As for Luke's mother, she looked at the two big fish, and also showed great surprise in her eyes. She didn't expect that even under the polar night, her son could hunt for food.

At the same time, she was a little happy and proud. The cub still thought of her and cared so much that he came with food. Even though he had left the den, he understood the special visit from his son.

"Auu!" Luke was happy to be able to give this food to his mother, so he indicated for her to eat.

The fish was very nutritious and fresh so that his mother could recover quickly. It could be said that there was nothing better for his mother than this kind of food. With this fish, her energy would improve a lot.

It was then that Luke's mother looked down and looked at these fish, then tried to bite one with her mouth. However, the same thing happened as with his father who stopped after feeling the scales of the fish.

At first, the meat was fresh, juicy, and soft, which impressed Luke's mother a lot.

It should be known that the stored food of wolves normally freezes, so unless the wolves finish the food immediately, which they usually do but not on polar night, they would taste slightly frozen meat.

"Auu!" Luke's mother was very happy to be able to eat something so good and strange.

Luke was happy to see his mother and indicated that she should eat more if she liked it.

At this moment, Luke's dad also approached, and Luke knew that with his father's physique, eating just one trout is not enough to fill him up. Therefore, he also instructed his father to come and eat.

When he was a cub, both his mother and father loved him very much. But as a dominant male wolf, Luke's father maintains his majesty in his behavior many times and does not express what he really wants.

But this time, seeing Luke's face of excitement, his father approached and ate with his partner. At the same time, he also tried to tell Luke's mother to be careful with the fishbones.

Luke's dad also deliberately tore off some pieces of fish with fewer scales and fewer bones and gave them to his female wolf.

The smell of delicious fish and the sound of wolves eating filled the entire den.

Due to the extreme night, food is extremely scarce. This is why each wolf pack gets the food it can before the polar night arrives, but sometimes it is impossible to get enough.

That's why most of them even tried to eat the fish scales and left almost nothing. But many who chewed the bones badly spit them out after a few seconds and didn't try again.

Even some stuck out their tongues, licking the remaining fish spines. And in turn, the struggle for food had stopped.

The injured wolves gave way to the healthier ones, who enjoyed most of the food. Some howls were sad, but this did not make any wolf stop.

Because they had long gotten used to this. And yes, this is the daily life of Arctic wolves. When food is abundant, even the weaker wolves can fill their stomachs. When food is scarce, leftovers are often a luxury.

As for Luke's parents, after eating, they consumed one and a half trout, completely filling their stomachs.

This finally made them full.

This abundant feast of fish and meat swept away the sadness and depression of this wolf pack.

Although a feast of fish and meat cannot immediately restore their bodies' energies, this is already something they had not imagined.

Luke's mother howled and looked at her son with great affection. It was only then that she saw Luke was much bigger when he came out of the cave.

Luke's size is ridiculously large, over two and a half meters if his tail is considered. Such size is extremely rare among Arctic wolves.

Luke's snow-white hair is also soft and shiny. This represents good food almost all the time.

This made Luke's mother relieved that her son was having a better time.
