Attibute Panel: Evolution from an Artic Wolf

61 - Unexpected

Grrr!

As soon as the brown bear saw his cub come out, he roared loudly, indicating to his son to hurry back to the cave. At the same time, the bear retreated towards the cave and looked at Luke as if he feared that he would focus on his offspring.

Now, after fiercely fighting the arctic wolf in front of him, he knew his speed and, compared to his enemy, he was one of the few who could reach this type of speed. The brown bear also knew that Luke's strength was unmatched by other bears. The terrible wounds on his body were proof of how dangerous this huge arctic wolf was.

Luke saw that the brown bear was very concerned about his cub, so this brief moment was enough for him to catch his breath and focus again on his enemy.

During this confrontation, he discovered that the brown bear's endurance was greater than his own, which also meant that Luke had spent a lot of time and effort avoiding his enemy's attacks.

But even if he attacked, he knew that the brown bear could respond in kind, causing him a wound that could end the fight in a matter of seconds.

Luke had felt his strength decrease by more than half, and his energies were agitated very quickly. Under normal conditions, this would be a good time to stop fighting the brown bear in front of him.

This brown bear was much stronger and incomparable to the female brown bear he had killed last time. None of the wounds had damaged his enemy's vision this time. If he continued to get these results, Luke knew he would be the one who would be dead later.

He had to be quick! Even if he couldn't kill the brown bear, he had to cause a wound that would leave him seriously injured so that he wouldn't be a nuisance to get rid of.

Otherwise, Luke knew that the brown bear would track him down to find the den of his pack. He had to give it his all; he couldn't afford to fail.

Relying on his excellent speed, Luke could easily escape this enemy. But this brown bear was different; he had already been hurt, and there was no way to avoid a direct confrontation. It is known that as long as one does not bother a bear, they will not see you as food or an enemy.

But today, Luke had risked much more than he had faced this predator. Therefore, he had to find the opportunity to kill this brown bear using his hunting skills.

Grrr!

With this thought in mind, Luke let out a powerful growl. This fruitless growl penetrated through the trees and mountains, letting everyone know that a powerful predator was willing to kill or die trying.

Just as Luke was planning to activate his hunting talent and fight the brown bear to the death, a shadow of a wolf suddenly jumped to the side of Luke.

It was Baxter!

Baxter, who was crawling with his head buried in the snow, had already seen that his boss could not defeat that huge brown bear. So, when Luke faced the brown bear, he silently crawled around.

But Luke and the deaf bear couldn't find any traces of Baxter because they were all focused on the battle.

Like a surprise soldier, Baxter jumped out from behind a bush. But he was very self-aware, and didn't want to attack the extremely angry brown bear.

After jumping, he ran straight towards the arrogantly roaring brown bear cub!

The strength of wolves has never dominated in nature as individuals, but through comparison and well-coordinated attacks.

Now that Baxter had jumped with the intention of tearing apart that little brown bear, he planned to distract the brown bear to give Luke an advantage.

Baxter's very intelligent actions served a great purpose. The brown bear, who saw this, was very angry and ran away at full speed, completely ignoring Luke.

Baxter's stats are similar to those of a level 5 arctic wolf, and his overall quality in all aspects is even stronger than the simple stats.

But the brown bear's anger made it a little faster than Baxter.

And with the brown bear turning its back on Luke, he reacted quickly, taking advantage of this opportunity to attack.

He couldn't waste this chance!

Luke, with his enormous speed, jumped forward.

Boom!

With a powerful strike from his right paw, he caused a terrible injury to the bear's hind legs.

But the brown bear didn't stop, it didn't care about the wound it had behind and continued running towards the cub.

This made Luke jump directly behind the brown bear. Opening his mouth and exposing his sharp fangs, he fiercely bit the bear's back, tearing off a piece of meat.

This time, the brown bear felt a wrenching pain, it had to stop and lift its body to knock down the enemy.

Luke, who was behind the brown bear, was thrown directly to the ground. After landing, he quickly distanced himself from the brown bear.

But his fierce gaze still stared at the bear ferociously. As the brown bear moved again, Luke would attack it in the same way.

Grrr!

This simple action made the brown bear very angry. The brown bear lifted its huge body and soon blood stained the white snow under its feet.

But the moment it saw Baxter getting closer to its den, the brown bear felt a powerful force running through its muscles.

It had made a decision to abandon its cub. As long as it was alive, there was still a chance for it to have more cubs. But now, right at this moment, it has lost all reasoning.

Especially when it saw Baxter had arrived at the side of the baby brown bear and had knocked it down with his huge body.

Roar!!!
