Chapter 11 - Girlfriend's Help
As the time to go to school approached, Anton packed his backpack and made sure not to carry anything that would get him into trouble during the little incident he was about to cause. This had to be quick; the simple way was as straightforward as a somewhat bloody fight.
First, he needed to find a somewhat aggressive target with a history of problems within the school to kickstart his issue. As he hadn't slept since yesterday, his brain felt a bit numb, but he endured all the fatigue to proceed with what lay ahead.
Upon reaching the school gates, Anton looked at Emma and greeted her with a small smile. "You seem happier than usual, is there something good about it?"
Emma held Anton's hand and said, "My mother's health seems to be improving, so this morning couldn't be better."
"I need to be expelled from school for a few days..." Anton, in the middle of the hallway, approached Emma and whispered, "I'll tell you later, but I need to do some things my father asked me to. But I couldn't skip school because the police would come home, so I need your help."
Emma seemed confused. Wouldn't it be better to ask for permission to get a few extra days? However, looking at Anton's somewhat anxious expression, she felt a calm gaze and asked, "What are you going to choose?"
"I don't know, I need a reason to do it..." Anton knew his girlfriend well, so he knew she would choose one of the guys around them, one less guilty than the others to get into trouble early in the morning.
"Choose that one, I remember he caused problems at the place where I worked after the holidays started; you could blame him for that," Emma said, pointing to a dark-skinned guy about six feet tall.
Anton nodded slightly and walked towards the guy whose name he couldn't recall. Meanwhile, Emma quickly searched for a teacher to have him stopped as soon as possible.
"Hey, do you know me, buddy?" Anton asked as he faced the guy he had chosen as his target.
"Buddy? Damn it, I don't know you..."
"Adam, who's this?"
"He's Anton, do you have a problem with him?"
Adam was puzzled, but after thinking, he couldn't remember if he had any issues with Anton, so he was about to end this quickly. Suddenly, an open hand held him abruptly by the jaw, causing everyone to step back.
"I heard you caused trouble at my boyfriend's workplace, do you have any problems?" Anton asked as he threw Adam towards the lockers, and Adam immediately got furious.
"If you want to fight, just say it, damn lunatic."
Adam didn't know why the hell they were fighting, but he wouldn't let himself be hit by an idiot who came looking for trouble with his friends. So, after being thrown, he took off his sweatshirt and threw the first punch.
To make this more realistic, Anton let the punch land on his cheek. After being hurt, he threw a single punch to Adam's nose, and within seconds, Adam fell to the ground.
"Oh!"
The students around simply reacted to the punch that knocked Adam down; many recognized him as the idiot who always bothered the freshmen.
"Get up!" Anton said, slightly annoyed by the pain from the punch he received.
But Adam, who had been hit, felt fear when the bleeding from his nose didn't stop. Nevertheless, when he saw that they kept provoking him and people mocked him, he immediately stood up and pushed Anton as if playing American football.
Boom!
Beyond hitting the lockers, Anton didn't receive any kind of damage. But from the corner of his eye, he saw the math teacher running towards them and shouting, "Disorderly children, stop right now!"
"What do you think you're doing?!" The teacher immediately stopped the fight, looked at everyone angrily, and shouted, "Today is the first day of school! You must be eager to be expelled. Come with me to the principal's office right now."
Anton sighed with relief; continuing the fight was not good at all because he would need to immobilize his opponent in that way. These kinds of fights were not common at all; as a fighter, you know when to retreat and when to keep fighting. But if an opponent doesn't surrender despite the serious blows he's receiving, you start to doubt whether to keep hitting him as a person.
Looking at Emma, who was on the side with a somewhat serious expression, Anton smiled at her and whispered, "You're amazing, Emma!"
"Damn it, Professor Kim, take this idiot to the infirmary, and you, Anton, come with me to see the principal!" The furious teacher shouted once again.
"Yes, no need to keep yelling..." Anton thought with a headache and looked at the clock with just a series of thoughts.
Do I have time or not?
Anton didn't know, but he had to talk to Emma and share some information with her as soon as possible so that she would also be aware. Do they know when it will start? At least they would have an idea about it.
When Anton disappeared from the hallway, Emma sighed and calmed the strong beats of her heart from the shock. It had been a while since she saw Anton fight; she remembered that the only requirement she had given him for them to get to know each other was for him to stop fighting.
"Emma, was that guy who was fighting your boyfriend?" Emma's friend immediately asked dramatically and whispered, "Didn't you say he was an amazing boyfriend? Wait, did that idiot Adam start it? He really is a jerk, always bullying Eric... He deserves it, don't be mad at your boyfriend; as a friend, I must say it's not wrong for him to fight from time to time..."
"Enough already, let's go to class..." Emma was a bit irritated due to the confusion, so she immediately walked towards the classroom while her friend bombarded her with questions.
...
Principal's office.
A few minutes later.
"Yes, ma'am, we have it under control, so you don't have to worry, but I'm afraid your son's nose is a bit broken... No, it's definitely completely broken."
The principal looked at Anton directly as if to make him aware of all the trouble he had caused by fighting, but he paid no attention to this because he was busy looking at his cellphone.
"Yes, I have it, of course, we have identified those responsible..."
The principal sighed deeply and said after hanging up the call, "This nonsense is not good for my heart early in the morning. How did we end up here when we had a deep conversation with your father last time, Mr. Anton?"
"Mr. Kent, you know that idiot deserved a beating..." Anton, who received a message, felt more comfortable and said, "Besides, if he hadn't started the fight, I would be the one with a broken nose."
"Call me Director; my name is reserved for the staff only... Anyway, where is your father?" Kent asked while opening a box full of nuts and started eating without looking at Anton.
"He'll be in Russia, maybe on his way, but if we wait for him in this office, it will take too long... What will happen?" Anton changed the subject.
The only thing that occurred to him, although it was a bit stupid, was this: if he reported sick, there would be many questions, and he possibly wouldn't have many days off before having to present a medical report. If he asked for days off, the questions would come anyway, so there was no better way to have days off than to do this.
"Obviously, you'll be expelled. I guess you've contacted some other family member besides your father... Good God, if you had done this outside of school, maybe I would have spared myself the complaints from this damn lady who will surely come to bother me."
"It's not something I haven't done before; let me take full responsibility, and I'll properly cover the medical expenses for that guy I hit. As long as there's no intervention from that student's family. Call my uncle; maybe he's on his way." When Anton said this, a series of shouts was heard from outside, and Adam's mother, the woman, entered looking for trouble.
"Is that the boy who hit my innocent Adam?! Bastard, where's your mother? I'll teach her how to listen to her son, damn it, do you even know that you've broken his nose?"
"Ma'am, calm down!" Kent shouted as the poor teacher who had brought Anton to the office restrained the woman who wanted to cause more than problems.
At that moment, Antonio entered the office hallway and lightly tapped on the glass in Anton's direction. Then he looked at the woman preparing for a fight and said, "Who's this prostitute?"
"How dare you call me a damn beggar?!" The woman shouted, immediately turning around to fight with Antonio.
"Ma'am, I deliver gender equality with my fists, behave right now, and we can end this problem properly." Antonio was a bit impatient; he didn't expect to be involved in this drama, so he looked for someone to take it out on a bit.
But just as they were about to continue arguing, Anton walked out the other side of the office and said, "Let's go, uncle, we have a lot to talk about."
"What is this drama?" Antonio walked towards the exit while ignoring everyone.
"Things got a bit out of control, but it doesn't matter. What's a priority, do you have time, right?" Anton asked while looking at his uncle.
"Of course, did your father call you?"
"Yes, something like that..."
