News Update: Gift Shop and Slots

Hey all! Today we have some exciting news regarding the new update as well as that new Gallery Feature we've been talking about on the Discord. So in the High Stakes Update, players will find themselves in Fortuna station, trying to uncover any clues towards the treasure that you've been searching for. Here you'll meet a new cast of interesting side characters, along with the ruthless Crimelord Ruby and her assistant Sylvia. 

What's a casino without a bit of gambling and prizes? Well in this update we're going to be featuring our very first minigame of a slot machine! Players will be able to play this to win chips that will be spent in the new Gift Shop as teased above! The slot machine itself will not have the same odds as a normal one, and winning won't be super difficult.  

The gift shop itself is going to be an exciting feature as we will be adding a whole new gallery feature that can be accessed on a laptop in the ship. This laptop will be in the new player's room which is now no longer too messy and you'll be able to check out all the gallery images you win from the casino. A very special part of this gallery is we will be adding art/pinups from various creators and patreons, and we will be featuring them on a special shoutout post after the update. This gallery will also be updated overtime, so you'll have this feature to look forward to very soon!

Also there will not be sound effects for the machine in this update, but just know next month we will be having a Music Update which will feature a whole set of brand new music tracks just for Cyber Rift! Anyways that's enough for today, but we'll keep you posted before the release between the 20-24th this month!
