The Notebook (2004) Valentines day Movie Reaction! FIRST TIME WATCHING!

*IMPORTANT* - We wanted to upload another Modern Horror video today however after many different edits and attempts of uploading it to YouTube, it has been blocked each and every time! We have disputed this and are awaiting the decision back so we apologise for this delay however in the mean time, please enjoy our valentines day special 1 week early!

Tom got NoteBooked!! This Valentines day Tom wanted to spend it with me instead of his Fiancé so we decided to watch The Notebook haha! This film is surprisingly lovely with a brilliant traditional story, a bold underlying theme and has great craftsmanship!

The Notebook (2004) Valentines day Movie Reaction! FIRST TIME WATCHING!

I'm coming back to this to say that first of all this was a very lovely and unexpected reaction for you guys to be doing, and if you ever want to do more ~romantic movies~ reactions, I would LOVE to see you react to Pride and Prejudice (2005) and About Time (which features Rachel McAdams as well!!) :D loving the content btw <3

The best romances are the oldies—as in 30’s, 40’s, 50’s. I’d love for you guys to do more classics.

I love the fact that Shaun still has Tom's valentine tucked away somewhere. I remember giving out valentines to the entire class, both boys and girls, when I was in grade school. Mind you this was back in the 70s so I was glad to see the newer generation did it as well. These two always make me smile. Such a great lasting friendship. I wish I had made more of an effort to keep in touch with my childhood friends.

So happy that this video involved meeting at the door - shocking that it was seen from inside this time! Meeting at the front door is an iconic part of Cinema Rules lore and will continue to be appreciated whenever it happens lol!

Aw, I didn’t see that coming, but it was a nice surprise and actually a good movie from what I can tell. About Time was brilliant, but the most heartcrushing ones for me still are Titanic (cliché, I know), Cruel Intentions (1999) and Brokeback Mountain. Looking forward to your next horror reaction, though. 😜

Was not expecting this!!! Was fun to watch along with you both. Personally I was never a fan of the notebook, the chemistry is off the charts but it didn't hit me where I live. Romance movies that affect me like the notebook affects most: Ghost (w/ Patrick Swayze), Pride & Prejudice (2005), and City of Angels. Keep up the great work!

I've been Notebooked! I had never watched The Notebook because of the stigma you talk about, but just from what I've seen here it's sweet and looks well done. And Rachel McAdams is always great. But the sweetest part about this reaction is that Tom gave Shaun a Valentine's Day card when you were 8 years old! Aw. Also, My Bloody Valentine (original) is the slasher film you are seeking.

Your dad sounds like me. I love action movies mixed in with human triumph over adversity stories. And as I've gotten older I have gotten a lot softer and the tears come down.

So this reaction was a pleasant surprise. I have to say that your horror movie reactions are my favorite, but I love when you guys switch it up a bit like with your foreign films list. I don't really watch a lot of romantic movies but I did enjoy this one. The chemistry between Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams is great. But not as great as the chemistry between you two😜.

This is one of my 80 year old Dad's favorite movies. He loves both action films and sappy love stories. I think this a great movie too. It makes me cry.

Wow a Chick Flick with Robots Aliens Monsters from hell...then I'm in...In Toms Overlook snowy cabin..gonna find Tom frozen like Jack in the Shining!!!!!!! Its what the old timers called Cabin fever!!

Nice to see a different genre reviewed. Never seen the notebook so that was my first time. Did shed a little tear. My go to romance film is Ghost with Patrick Swayze Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg. A beautiful film.
