’m really glad you guys picked this - as for which version I prefer, i think the 1978 version with it’s claustrophobic dread and the anonymity and isolation that living in a big city brings definitely trumps the small-tow fear of the “other” from the 1956 version. ( although i love and own both, and both are in my Halloween horror rotation every year ) - 9.2 n “
