The future is in your hands...
Added 2023-01-06 17:06:25 +0000 UTCSkam... start from season 1 or go straight in to season 3?
Comments
I would start with season 1 as I think it's important to see it from the beginning as you can see the characters develop. The episodes are quite short so you could do two per video. I think you would find it better to watch from the beginning as they bring up some interesting topics and I would love to see your response to them.

2023-01-07 04:30:39 +0000 UTCTheoretically you could start season 3 immediately, and perhaps you'd have time before you filmed again to binge the first two seasons? It's not ideal, but I suspect if you start with season 1 it won't take but a few videos before someone spoils you on season 3 and the characters. I've seen it on other reaction channels the past few years...I think Skam just excites people and they just go off about future plot beats and such in comments. I want to protect you from spoilers. :)

2023-01-07 00:32:16 +0000 UTCI watched S3 first and although there are some things that are background from S1 and S2, it won’t make the season less amazing.

2023-01-07 00:30:01 +0000 UTCI’ve not seen any of the seasons so I have no say on the matter, I will just watch whatever you post xx

2023-01-07 00:03:18 +0000 UTCAt least binge season 1 offline, or all as 1-3 videos. Eg 3 eps per video? Your Season 2 reactions would be interesting because the fandom is split on certain aspects of it. But again maybe 2-3 eps per video?

2023-01-06 22:36:30 +0000 UTCOkay so we’re very torn. My only issue is… I won’t have time to binge watch 2 seasons before I next have to film a video aka tomorrow… 🤔

2023-01-06 22:03:03 +0000 UTCDouglas - it wasn't a Netflix series. It was produced by one of the main Norwegian TV companies.

2023-01-06 21:25:29 +0000 UTCPlease watch from season 1, all the seasons are too good to miss and you will get to know all the characters properly! ❤️

2023-01-06 20:20:43 +0000 UTCI'm trying to find where to watch SKAM with English subtitles. I thought it was on Netflix, but not so easy. Where are you all watching it?

2023-01-06 20:11:29 +0000 UTCEven though I originally watched season 3 first, I think the best way to do it is to watch from the beginning to get everyone’s back stories, since they do get referred to in later episodes. The show still makes sense if you start with season 3, but you miss out on some cool surprises that you’ll experience if you start at the very beginning. (You also get a better look at the entire arc of Isak’s character [he’s the protagonist of season 3] if you watch it from the start.) But if you don’t react to the first two seasons, I think it would be good for you to watch them before season three reactions as annanas suggested.

2023-01-06 18:39:02 +0000 UTCYes. I strongly agree with this suggestion. The character background from seasons 1&2 is important (for ALL the different versions of SKAM), but I very strongly suspect the audience for the reactions are really only interested in season 3 for watching along.

2023-01-06 18:25:34 +0000 UTCI don’t feel qualified to vote as I don’t know anything much about the series, so I don’t mind and I am happy to go with whatever you decide.

2023-01-06 17:56:52 +0000 UTCI liked season 1, season 2 not so much bc both protagonists annoyed me even though that season deals with and handles really well some important issues. Seasons 3 and 4 were both excellent, esp. season 3. 💗

2023-01-06 17:34:49 +0000 UTCMaybe binge S1-2 on your own, then react to 3&4, which are the best seasons imo?
