I still can't listen to Louder Than Words without breaking down when the Happy Birthday theme kicks in at the end. So beautiful. Lin-Manuel is a genius.

2023-02-01 05:10:52 +0000 UTCIt’s very good! Only tangentially related because you said Broadway since it doesn’t fit your platform here, but for your own enjoyment have you seen the film adaptation of Tick, Tick… Boom! on Netflix? Nearly perfect, highly recommend if you love Broadway.

Unfortunately, if it’s only available on HBO, then I won’t be able to watch it, because I don’t have HBO though, since you react to the entire show here, I guess it wouldn’t matter. Of course I’m still big on pushing “Bad Buddy,” the Thai show that is available with English subs on YouTube. I just have to mention that whenever possible.

I think it was just a few years too early and did not get the chance it should have with audiences. As someone else mentioned, it is quite graphic so be warned about that. If you’re into movie reactions and haven’t seen it already, it’s from the same creator who did Weekend (2011) which is also AMAZING.

I expect there will be a lot of interest in it because Jonathan Groff is in the new M Night Shyamalan film coming out soon and Murray Bartlett was in Whote Lotus and the much lauded episode 3 of The Last of Us. Might be worth checking out, even if you’re not “looking” to add it to the reaction roster. (🤭😏)
