I just really like seeing Isak happy.. When by himself or with friends he often seems to have doubts about himself, being irritable or putting up a facade, but when he's with Even he never hesitates, he just let's himself be happy <3 Can't wait for next episode!

2023-02-12 01:18:11 +0000 UTCI too noticed the pool reference to Romeo and Juliet. That is a gorgeous scene and a wonderful film altogether. I don’t dislike the guys and I keep thinking that I should give it a bit longer..but I think that’s it for me now. It just isn’t for me. Hope everyone else enjoys the rest of the episodes and I will see you in the next Patreon exclusive comments.x

2023-02-10 21:01:41 +0000 UTCFor anyone who is interested in further context behind the episodes I have found english translations of most of the social media and text messages that appeared during the initial run of the show. You have to be disciplined and not read ahead but there is so much context added through these 'external' character interactions that I thought I would share. https://skaminenglish.tumblr.com/post/158794946300/skam-masterpost-of-all-things

2023-02-10 20:49:28 +0000 UTCOh, that’s absolutely why I watched season four, at first. Then I really got caught up in her storyline as well. But I love what the show does with our boys in Season 4 as well.

2023-02-10 20:33:49 +0000 UTCI will confess, while I love Sana's character and she is a big reason to watch season 4.....I selfishly watched her season for more Isak and Even scenes. Hah!

2023-02-10 20:31:57 +0000 UTCBack to the locker metaphor - Isak can’t open the locker, because he has a hard time coming out and opening up. Even just punches it open, because he doesn’t care if anyone knows that he’s into guys and because he will eventually force open Isak’s closet. When Jonas appears, Isak immediately closes his locker again, because he’s not ready to talk to Jonas just yet. He also hurts himself on the locker, because bottling everything up also hurts. I just really appreciate these small, nuanced details, similar to how much I love the parallels in Young Royals. Such thoughtful writing and filming! Looking forward to your Episode 5 reaction!

2023-02-10 20:12:05 +0000 UTCThat final scene is a lot of people’s favorite moment, at least in the first half of the season. If you go back and look at the scene where Issac is watching “Romeo + Juliet,” you’ll see a bit of the swimming pool scene from that movie. And don’t think that wasn’t intentional on Even’s part. The opening scene with Noora does mean a lot more if you’ve seen the previous season, which is the one that focuses on her. She is supposed to be the same age that Isak is, as are Vilde and Eva and Chris and Sana and Jonas and Magnus and Mahdi. Sana is a favorite character with a lot of people, and she is the focus of the fourth season.
