As an American, I understood Buttons but I watch a lot of British shows. My mother on the other hand, struggles with accents.

I watched a couple of reactions to it on another Patreon and gave it a fighting chance but I just couldn’t warm to it. In fact, I thought it was pretty awful but maybe I just didn’t get it. I’m sure lots of people are going to enjoy it with you, so that’s fine. I am just starting the Druck reactions, so I haven’t gone anywhere. x❤️

It is totally absurd, but the comedy is wrapped around some wonderful representation that’s just baked into the fabric of the show. Also some excellent social commentary. Really looking forward to rewatching it with you.

To me, as an American, the humor in the show feels very British, in that Monty Python, Goon Show sort of way. And I understood Buttons perfectly fine. 🙂
