Weekend Update - Feb 25th

I just wanted to drop by and let you all know there will be no Patreon Exclusive today. I am editing the Stockholm vlogs for you all but they are the biggest edits I’ve done in, well, probably ever! But they’re going to be EPIC. I hope you guys love them as much as I have loved filming and editing them. I am only about half way through the first video and I’ve been editing it since the flight home!
I have a long weekend off in May and I am genuinely considering going back to Stockholm for a few days. I have fallen so in love with the city that I was even considering transferring to the lululemon there… but, let’s not make any rash decisions!
Anyway - I hope you’re all having a wonderful weekend. I’ve found myself a little bit ill today so have been in bed most of the day resting… it’s been kind of glorious if i’m honest.

On a completely unrelated note, for those of us who are in the UK, we have just managed to get tickets to see Micky Flanagan in March, his first tour for quite a while. If you don’t know him, you might assume he’s going to be both homophobic and racist, and he does come across as a Cockney wide-boy, but his targets are really class pretensions, sexual hypocrisy and his own sometimes awful behaviour and he’s very very funny, unless you’re easily offended or shocked…He told a great story online recently about taking down a homophobic priest. Good luck getting tickets if you’re interested, as we had over 7,000 people in the online Ticketmaster queue in front of us but eventually got tickets on another site. Seeing him for the first time live some years ago was the only time I have actually cried with laughter at a stand-up show.

2023-02-26 22:26:28 +0000 UTCI have no doubt the Stockholm videos will be well worth waiting for, so there’s no need to rush them, especially if you’re under the weather today. The only Scandinavian country I’ve ever been to was Denmark, specifically Copenhagen, though we did take a boat over to Sweden to get our passports stamped and then come back. And that was 49 years ago this coming summer, so it’s been a while, but I loved Copenhagen, and I have no doubt I would love Stokholm if I ever got a chance to go. I’m sure watching the vlogs will be magical.

If I do get a work trip to Europe, I end up in the Netherlands where my companies headquarters are. I look forward to seeing Stockholm thru your eyes. And then I had to find out on Insta that Omar wasn’t only in Germany but in my hometown Hamburg 😭😭😭😭 and i didn’t had the time to find out exactly where he stayed.
