Weekend ponderings… 🤔

I hope you’re all having a stunning weekend. I had a wonderful theatre outing last night with a friend of mine to the West Ends latest smash hit “My Son’s A Queer (But What Can You Do). It’s a beautiful one man show about this particular actors parents and how they always encouraged him to be 100% authentically himself… safe to say, given my own family circumstances, I was a blubbering mess. But, it reaffirmed something for me.
Stockholm, as you’ll see in tomorrows video, was an emotional experience for me that fit together a lot of puzzle pieces that i’ve been unable to put together since covid. And this show reaffirmed what stockholm first brought into my head… I need to be working as a creative.
So, I have decided that in the not so distant future I am going to be parting ways with lululemon and jumping head first into life as a full time creative. My soul needs the fulfilment.
Something covid has taught me is that the comfort of a salary doesn’t bring me happiness - being creative does.
This may sound wild to people who aren’t creative and honestly it’s hard to put into words but it feels like 100% the right decision (as scary as it is). The thought of being able to dive head first into creating content for Patreon and YouTube as well as opening back up my work as a freelance photographer and content creator excites me more than anything has in years.
Life is too short to play it safe… 📸

And if you are of a creative nature, life isn’t the same if you’re not exercising that creativity. And, of course, all of us reap the benefits of that creativity.
