Today we are jumping back into Heartstopper. With each episode I am finding myself get more and more and more obsessed again.

Every element of this show reflects the experiences of all the LGBTQ+ cast and crew in this masterpiece for our community by our community. I love the fact that the kisses between our boys weren't interrupted as they would have been in other shows.

2023-06-20 12:15:16 +0000 UTCYou can wear that outfit for the next episode when Nick comes over in the rain and panicked Charlie saying he was sorry for the kiss but Nick kissed him again that was so lovely he realises that he does like Charlie and wanted to kiss him but he’s having a big gay crisis so yes I think that outfit would be great for that episode. I am so glad I am a top tier member as I love seeing all these reactions they are the best.

2023-05-14 22:33:44 +0000 UTCCan't be the Postman, it's Sunday. Oh, and one of the problems with watching this episode on it's own is that you desperately need episode 4! All of the acting in this show is excellent but I am always riveted on Joe in the kissing scene. Kit is wonderful but knowing that this is Joe's first big acting gig never ceases to amaze me. His reactions, the switch in his attitude that you mentioned when he realizes that maybe Nick is of the same mind. As an actor myself I would call him a miracle if I believed in them. Certainly a miraculous find for the success of this production.

I feel like ever since you shared the news that you quitted your job a huge weight has been lifted off of your shoulders! You can finally commit fully to your passion and It’s so nice to see you like that! This and episode 5 are probably my favorite episodes cause they show how deeply Nick cares for Charlie although Charlie is having a hard time to actually see and believe it… ♥️

For what it’s worth, in the US, I think the closest thing to “form“ is what we would call “homeroom.“ (At the school I attended, homeroom was always whatever the first class of the day was.) I love the fact that no matter how many times I watch this, I catch things I missed the previous times: this time it was the line about Harry crying because the Lamborghini was the wrong color. And it sort of amazes me that, given how much of a jerk Harry is, he gets that many people to come to his party.

There was tutor time as well, but that was a different bit of the day when PSHE was taught…Personal, Social and Health Education for those uninitiated in its mysteries. A few things about this episode. Firstly, I never noticed this before, but when Tara and Darcy kiss on the dance floor, on both occasions, the space under their faces and between their chests forms a heart shape. How neat is that. Second thing, which is one of my favourite moments in this episode, Charlie grabs hold of Nick’s shirt to pull him in closer for the second series of kisses. Finally, this isn’t the only show to place The Kiss right up there early on. Young Royals season 1 episode 2: Simon and Wille kiss at the horror movie night. (Sorry, it’s almost impossible for me to not mention Young Royals at some point in the comments😂❤️👑❤️) I think this is probably my favourite episode of Heartstopper, because I think it’s so well written and so well shot. Those rainbow colours in the dance floor scene are just beautiful In amplifying the shot of Tara and Darcy with Nick watching and I’m also remembering how great the music choices are. 🥰

2023-05-14 11:36:47 +0000 UTCThis episode both fills my heart with joy for Charlie and then also breaks it into two as well. I too wonder what Nick would have said if Harry hadn't shouted at that exact moment and then I wonder if it would have been the same as he said the morning after at his house. Would the instant reaction have been any different to the reaction he had after a whole night of thinking about it?? I think this episode shows how much Imogen really likes Nick as more than just friends and that's when things kinda, sorta change around them too. I could just feel Charlie's pain and sadness in that scene when he's in bed and thinking how he'd just effed up with Nick and lost him as a friend, been there, done that when I've told people how I feel about them 😢 In Scotland we called form room 'Registration' you turn up to be marked in as there and then you went to your first class of the day.
