I just wanted to say I am right there along side you having the same reactions to this show. You’re the one content creator whose reactions and comments resonate the closest with mine. Despite the fact I’m older than you, female, and bi. Because these are human reactions, regardless of gender or age or sexuality. Younger people don’t realize that as we age, especially any of us who have experienced childhood trauma, we are able to revisit our younger selves in our minds in an instant. So when we’re watching these scenes, we’re experiencing them as our teenage selves. The age we are now is frankly inconsequential. Thank you for being you and sharing this vulnerable part of yourself with us. It’s making my healing process that much easier. 🩷

2023-09-09 18:17:52 +0000 UTCI love that even though they are both so unsure, for very different reasons, they both already trust each other enough to ask the hard questions, Charlie is so brave in that scene in the ballroom, I don't know if I could ever have been that brave at that age. When Charlie tells Nick about Ben there's an emotion I can't quite pin behind NIck's eyes before Charlie tells him how he handled it, like a fierceness and that scene I always think is so well acted

I know Nick and Charlie are the primary focus (of course!), I appreciate that Alice wrote Tara as the “love interest” for Nick when they were babies, and race/interracial dating is never made a whole thing. With any of the interracial couples! I appreciate seeing queer black and minority women represented. Hope all is well with you!
