One more thing, sorry, besides Nick being so worried he’s like Ben, I absolutely love the scene of Nick lovingly wiping the mud off Charlie’s cheek. It gets me every time ❤️

2024-03-06 21:35:02 +0000 UTCI love their first kiss obviously but I absolutely love the scene the next day in Charlie’s room. I love how Charlie is Nick’s support and safe space. I love that how he told Ben that he would’ve been there for him how Nick does find comfort in Charlie. It is the true beginning of a beautiful relationship. I also identify with Nick because in my late 30’s I started to realize I liked women as well as men and wondered what that meant for me. I hadn’t been in any relationship in 18 years and just in therapy. My therapist encouraged me to explore these new feelings, which I realized over my life weren’t really new. Now I have an amazing girlfriend for almost 7 years and she’s my soulmate. I know many people would probably think I’m too old to watch Heartstopper but I don’t care. It’s my happy place especially since recently losing my Mom who gave her blessing before she died for me to marry my girlfriend. Sorry this was so long. I love your videos and think you’re amazing and such a kind person.

2024-03-06 21:17:42 +0000 UTCOne big difference between Nick and Ben is that Nick *asks* Charlie if it's ok to keep their relationship a secret, whereas Ben TOLD him (rather rudely) to do that. OTOH Nick should have been at Charlie's side after he was knocked down on the rugby pitch -- he's captain of the team!
