Even watching this for a second time, my heart just still breaks along with his. I could sort of predict what was going happen next and that broke my heart even further. Felice I think just got desperate after the very clear rejection from Wille, that she went to someone whom she knew wanted her. She just wanted to be wanted, and boy can I relate to that. This show is such an emotion tugging disaster in the best way.

I have this impression that Edvin and Omar, in a way, are pretty much their characters. That's why it works so well. It feels authentic. ❤️I can't imagine Edvin being Simon and Omar being Wille...

2023-07-20 11:54:34 +0000 UTCYeah, that was me saying that I thought Omar was probably the best looking guy in the known universe…😂 and surprise! I still do! 🫠. This is such a pivotal episode for Wille in particular. It is such a journey for him from here to the Crown Prince we see at the end of season 2, that he’s almost unrecognisable from the somewhat awkward and diffident character of these early episodes. Even this early, though, the connection between him and Simon is so powerful that I remember thinking that they were so different from each other, yet so clearly soulmates. Sublime casting in Edvin and Omar. ❤️👑❤️
