I didn’t mean for it to take three days to get to this, but I’m glad I finally did. First of all, I would’ve thought I would’ve recognized something from “Pirates of Penzance,” though it has been a little while since I saw a production. The whole mixing of Blackbeard with high society was hilarious, as was adapting the Nigerian prince email scam to this world. And you never know who’s going to show up on this show: I did not expect Nick Kroll and Kristen Schaal, but there they were! I’m discovering the series along with you, so I have no idea where it’s going either, but it’s fun to find out.

2023-11-23 15:33:59 +0000 UTC'Pirates of Penzance' - well although I haven't heard any G&S for a VERY long time, I thought I was pretty familiar with their music, but I must be honest, I didn't recognise that section of an aria that you sang. One of these days I'll recognise the song/aria AND maybe pick the correct musical/opera as well! ☺
