I am doing my sunday night admin for the week ahead and it's got me thinking about content here on Patreon. We are fast approaching the end of Druck season 1 and approaching the mid season of Our Flag Means Death Season 2.
Neither of these shows are showing as particularly popular on the page so I wanted to give you all the opportunity to have your say on what you would like to see next when we are done with these 2 shows. Young Royals is only a month away but we will need another show to run alongside it.

2024-02-13 01:43:19 +0000 UTCYou mentioned growing up with Glee? I guess that means you haven’t seen Queer as Folk, the first TV-series completely set in the gay scene. The original UK series (1999) has 10 episodes (2 saisons). The American remake (Showtime 20000-2005) starts similar but ran for 5 saisons with 83 episodes. Both are great and highly addicting. The creator is Russel T. Davies, who also created Cucumber, Banana, Years and Years and It’s a Sin. All of them very good gay-themed TV- shows

(That’s because I think seasons 1 and 3 of both are on a par with each other.) And I would love to see you go back to the fourth season of the OG Skam, both for Sana’s story and also some good Isak and Even scenes. I know that eventually the Bad Buddy collab with Courtney is coming, but I also agree with the person who suggested some of the best of the Thai BL series (I guess you’ve heard me say that enough by now).

Also just very funny, well-written, and nice to look at.

I don’t think there are many reactions to it out there. TK and Carlos are an irresistible couple. Season 5 drops in the autumn so a reaction to maybe season 1 and 2 might be a timely decision, if all the previous seasons would be too much?

One show that helped me cope after watching Fellow Travelers and RW&RB was a very sexy and romantic gay relationship depicted in 911 Lone Star a US show. I found it on Hulu and loved it. The relationship involves a very handsome Hispanic man ( a police officer) and a gorgeous white paramedic. They go through a lot and overcome a lot difficulties but the payoff is fantastic at the end. They are filming the final season soon. It goes on for four seasons. There are other storylines on the show but this one stands out the most.

Highly recommended. The Normal Heart is difficult for me because I was a member of ActUp in NYC during the timeframe covered in the film but it was very well done. And talk about an A List cast

I am not sure if it's a popular show or if it would be popular over here (me, Ruth, Kurt, Audrey and Grace love it... 😂) but it's such a great show with great representation. It's impossible not to fall in love with Tarlos. ❤️ The whole cast is great. It's a big commitment though. Season 5 can't come fast enough!

Be proud of me, I didn’t also suggest Interview With The Vampire (2022) straight off. 😂 Mary and George is also starting soon. 👀I just watched All Of Us Strangers too and I loved it even though I was confused and I cried. There’s also Of An Age, I loved that as well.

And having the actual trailblazer Larry Kramer as the screenwriter, based on his own play from 1985, written and first staged from ground zero of the epidemic, is quite a privilege and insightful. It is also semi-autobiographical. Great cast and performances all around as well. Highly recommend it and it’d be great to rewatch it with you and hear your thoughts on it 👍🏻👍🏻
