for those that follow the modding community thoroughly, some of you might have noticed the new plugin, which allows all animations to have all the Data inside the animations themselves instead of through behaviors, this plugin project only allows us to get better features in the future,
This will certainly affect all my projects as I plan to integrate the advantages of the plugin to all of them, I started with a little experiment yesterday and made a few patterns for NPC attacks, and it turned out quite well!,
different behavior patterns and different annotation properties(number of hits, anim length) It's truly a power mod that only benefits us from here
as shown in the video, just a little preview of what it does, Instead of relying solely on behavior for NPC attacks, it makes NPCs have a set/fixed data so I can only make a limited number of patters. But because the plugin is available, I was able to make new animations with varying patterns and through Dynamic Animation Replacer, allowed certain conditions to spice up the game design, including, Skill/level based conditions to determine which animations would be used,
I made several patterns which only higher level NPCs could use, this allows us to get uniqe boss fights and more enemy types and more patterns depending on level, weapon, class and skill level,
This will definitely be further developed in the future, as this makes combat more interesting and each encounter unique, ALSO, if there would be enough plugin made animations, you can have the luxury to swap animations so you can select based on your preferences. More will definitely come soon!
