Project Impact - New upcoming mod included to the Projects List

Hi guys! We'll try to start this new month as strong as ever, currently, I thought about one of the ideas of one of our fellow patrons, who suggested creating an enemy reaction mod, the idea interested me because it is true that no matter how good your attack animations look, or even how bad, it is not fully as satisfying without the proper reaction.

I believe the quality of combat and aesthetic will always depend on the appearance of damage inflicted and the reaction upon it is received. We don't see a current system in skyrim right now, so I am trying my best to add this feature to amp up the satisfaction when pulling off your attacks


Apologies for the animation quality right now, but this is a very new project. The current animations are just placeholders and the focus is stabilizing and ensuring the system is successfully detected knows where it needs to transition to.


The idea is that depending on your attacks/combos, the enemy will have different reactions, this allows the possibility of Enemy juggling or stunning or other states inspired by other combat games where you can play around enemies. 


This mod has a long way to go though, but rest assured we will do our best to make this system a possibility so we all can have a better game!

Yeah, animations are one thing, what we're currently going for and where we are currently at is figuring out when do these hit reactions work, currently there is actually no programmed on hit event which is why we have the on hit framework by maxsu, the flinching requirement, it is one of the requirements necessary but right now it only has one type of on hit detection and that detection is always in effect when anything is hit, we still need to create conditional events that would be attached to specific animations, similar to hitframes or weapon sounds, once we figure that out we can finally focus on the animations and refine this concept.
