On The Road To 0.80

Hi everyone,

welcome back on the road to the next update. Let's hope this one will be a lot less rocky than the last one. Despite some private issues I had to deal with, which ultimately caused the brief delay, I think it's fair to say that the release of 0.70 was a success. "Summer In The City" has been placed among the most popular adult games on itch.io for a few days and gained quite an amount of recognition in the process. It's such an exciting time for Summer & the bunch. Can't wait to see what's ahead.

We're getting closer and closer to the finale of season one! There will be two more regular updates until I'm shifting my focus 100% on preparing the big Steam release. But until then, let's stay focused on the upcoming updates. I really would love to finish the 0.80 update until April 26th. Why so specific, you ask? Because it will be Summer In The City's first anniversary. April 26th 2024 was the day I nonchalantly uploaded the very first version of the game in order to get some feedback... and the rest is history. (Fun fact: That's also the anniversary day of the Chernobyl disaster. Make of that what you will.) I will keep you all updated about the development via the regular news segments, including previews as usual.

I'd like to finally begin offering custom renders to the Shitballs and Shitballs Deluxe tiers. My original plan was to offer 8K renders, but I don't think I'll be able to pull it off unfortunately. If I was a render artist only, it'd be fine. But considering that I have to take care of every aspect of game development, I can't afford spending a full day/night on rendering a single image. Even with my new GPU, 8K renders are still very time consuming. So as of now I can only offer one 4K custom render per month. They still look pretty damn great in my humble opinion. So if you're an active Shitballs or Shitballs Deluxe member, hit me up if you'd like to order a custom render. I will also create a dedicated post with all details very soon.

There will be a couple of fun and naughty sets in 4K this month for all paid members. You can also look forward to a special St. Patrick's Day set with The Jolly Executioners. From now on, I will also add a .zip to the attachments down below including all the images posted.
