‘Ah, another relaxing day.’ Leon thought to himself as he sighed contently. Life at the royal academy was hell, especially for a humble baron such as himself. He was expected to find a wife within three years, and the daughters of nobles were all spoiled rotten and utterly dreadful. Thankfully Leon had found two girls who weren’t anything like them…although one was a commoner and the other the daughter of a duke…so he couldn’t marry either of them. The thought almost brought tears to his eyes.

Leon stuffed the emotion away and poured a cup of hot tea. The one bright side of the academy was it revealed his love of throwing tea parties. These were meant to entertain potential romantic partners, but Leon found them fun and relaxing. It was one of the silver linings of being reborn into the world of a stupid otome game.

Yes, Leon was isekai’d into a dating sim he had been forced to 100%. He abused his knowledge to secure some stability as well as try to keep the story on the right path. That was how he befriended the game’s protagonist, Olivia, and in a twist the villainess Angelica as well. Those two just so happened to be his most regular tea party guests.

Although, part of Leon wondered if he had thrown too many tea parties. There was a small one on Friday’s to celebrate the weekend, a proper one on Saturday where he had plenty of time to plan, and often small or medium ones on Monday and Wednesday for his mental health. Olivia and Angelica, referred to by their nicknames Livia and Angie, attended each of those. Leon always made sure the snacks and tea were high quality.

Which led to the issue, Livia’s weight. As a commoner, she wasn’t used to having easy access to sweets. Leon never chastised her for eating so many, too. It was nearly impossible to given how cute she was. Livia had shoulder length, flax colored hair and vibrant blue eyes. She had previously been slender, if not a little more filled out than the average commoner. This had been obvious given her generous bust. Now, however, she looked like someone who had indulged in noble decadence for years. Her chest now boasted breasts more than twice the size of her head, her face was full and round with an extra chin, her shoulders were gently padded with over an inch of fat, her arms were puffy at thick from upper to forearm to wrist, and she boasted a soft belly that overflowed her lap. The great glob of dough curved out from under her chest and reached just beyond her knees. The sides rolled over her thighs with meaty love handles and soft curves. All of this was neatly stuffed into her school uniform which consisted of a button-up blouse and black jacket. The fabric was drawn taut over, especially around her arms, chest, and belly. Normally the female uniform had a red ribbon tied around the collar of their blouse, but Olivia had discarded it. Her neck had grown too thick to comfortably clasp the top button.

Livia’s lower body was also heavily graced with additional mass. She needed two chairs to sit comfortable, but even then her hips neared the edges of both seats. Thankfully Livia’s grey skirt was large enough to cover her prodigious rump. Large cheeks squished against the backrest of her chair and caused it to partially bow. Her thighs were thick and left exposed. Their girth caused them to squish against each other, and they were a few inches narrower than the two chairs she sat upon.

Her face lit up with joy each time she bit into another snack. Leon remembered the first time he interacted with Livia. She had just been bullied by noble girls, and Leon had invited her in for a tea party. She had complimented the tea he made and joyously nibbled away at the snacks.

‘She’s just to precious. Damn this cursed otome game’s rules.’ Leon mentally cursed the world and it’s societal standards. He kept those feelings quiet and refilled Livia’s cup of tea.

“Thank you, Mister Leon.” Livia smiled brightly before she sipped her tea. The simple act of tilting the glass and her head back gave a brief glance at her cleavage. Leon quickly blushed and looked away, Livia none the wiser she had been momentarily ogled.

The other guest, Angie, did notice. “Why don’t you have a seat, Leon? Participate in the party instead of simply working it.” Angie, commonly referred to by her full name Angelica Rapha Redgrave, was the daughter of a duke. This put her standing far above Livia and Leon’s. Still, she was a permanent member of their motley trio.

Such high noble standing was one reason why Angie didn’t indulge as much as Livia. She limited her cups of tea and amount of snacks. Yet she showed some signs of overindulgence. Her stomach had filled out into a soft pot belly. It was mostly hidden within her tight jacket, by any view from the side revealed the delicate paunch. That might be acceptable for the daughter of a Baron or Viscount, but noble families ranking as Earls or higher were subjected to more scrutiny.

Angie had bright red eyes and golden blonde hair pulled up in a bun. She carried herself exactly as a noble of her standing would. She wore a similar uniform to Livia except the ribbon at her collar was present. She also wore leggings instead of leaving her legs bare as Livia did.

Leon couldn’t help but feel out of place with the two beauties. He closely resembled his appearance from her former life. The standard Japanese features of black hair and black eyes. At least his build was more solid thanks to adventuring. Yes, this otome game had adventuring and dungeon dicing as a subplot. Leon got distracted thinking about that before Angie spoke again.

“You did work quite…well.” Angie trailed off. She wanted to say Leon worked hard to put this party together, but that wasn’t exactly correct. The money for this party had come from where Leon often got his money.

Gambling.

Leon held his head high. “Diligently, assiduously, and industriously? Yes, indeed I did.” His words dripped with pride. “But its only because the idiot brigade challenged me to yet another duel they had no chance of winning.” He chortled.

The idiot brigade referred to the game’s original love interests. Love interests that should have fawned over Livia if they weren’t stolen by another reincarnated person, Marie. The group fostered a rivalry since Leon stepped in to defend Angie, beat the five in a duel, and got them disinherited from their high noble families. Leon always ensured he bet a small fortune on himself so he raked in massive profits.

The room was silent. This was normally when Livia would chastise Leon for his gambling and insist that it would come back to bite him. Instead, she continued to snack diligently. She drained her cup of tea and stuffed a few little cakes, cookies, tarts, and pastries into her mouth one after the other. When plates started to empty, Leon replaced them as well as refilled Livia’s cup. She thanked him between bites and continued to eat.

Angie watched closely and sighed. She stood up and gripped Leon by his upper arm. “Come with me for a moment. We need to discuss something.” She pulled firmly and dragged Leon along. Livia watched for a moment and seemed ready to say something. Instead, she returned to eating.

Leon was dragged to the next room where Livia wouldn’t hear them. He wasn’t given a chance to speak before Angie started. “You’re overfeeding Livia. She had blown up in size ever since you started throwing so many tea parties. It’s only going to make it harder for her at the academy. She’s already teased for being a commoner, so do you want her to be teased for her weight too?” Angie rapid fired her statements. It was only because she cared deeply for their shared friend.

The young man was quick to counter. Leon had always been sly and apt at using his words to escape complex situations. “I don’t make her eat them. I simply buy top quality snacks as any tea party host should. Livia is free to eat as many or as few as she wants.”

The block.

“This is your fifth tea party this week!” Angie retorted.

“It’s my hobby!”

The parry.

Leon continued. “Let’s not forget that you spoil Livia too. How many times have you taken her out for lunch this week?”

And thus the critical strike. Angie quickly blushed and found herself without words. She often took Livia out to fancy restaurants where she let her eat whatever she pleased. It was another large influx of calories for a commoner unaccustomed to abundant calories.

Angie finally cleared her throat. “About five times this week.”

Leon was about to accuse Angie of being at fault for Livia’s weight. He would mean it as a light hearted jab, but it was also nice to foist a portion of the blame onto someone else.

However, someone else joined the conversation first. It was a metallic sphere with a red lens that served as an eye. This was Luxion, an old military AI that Leon acquired before entering the academy. Back in Japan, when this world was just a stupid otome game, the balance was so off that it was impossible to win. So, Leon had used real money to purchase Luxion as a cheat item. He was just as capable in this world and was the reason Leon was able to act so freely and without uncertainty.

Of course his AI companion had a hatred for “new humans.” He also made sure to speak to Leon, his master, with snide and cutting remarks.

“Due to my calculations, both of you are responsible for Miss Olivia’s weight.” Luxion spoke bluntly. “I would suggest you stop spoiling her lest she double in weight. Based on the current trend, that will be before summer break.”

“That big?” Leon and Angie asked at the same time. Livia was already a butterball. They struggled to imagine her twice the size. Any attempts left them flustered.

Luxion turned from side to side, his version of shaking his head. “Perhaps I should construct a diet plan for Miss Olivia? If paired with a moderate exercise routine, then she should be able to drop the weight in no time.”

“Not a chance.” Leon responded.

“Agreed.” Angie nodded.

The idea had been quickly shot down. Luxion merely hovered silently.

Leon was the first to continue. “If this is what makes her happy, then I won’t stop her.” Livia had a few rough patches at the academy. Indulging in sweets to take the edge off seemed perfectly reasonable to Leon. Plus, she was adorable no matter how chunky she got.

“I think it would hurt her feelings if we say she’s overweight. Not to mention I feel like even moderate exercise would be too intensive for her.” Angie added. The idea of Livia being told to cut back snacking and go for a run sounded like it would make her cry. Angie wouldn’t allow that. ‘Even if she gets so fat that her…belly…reaches her feet.’ She blushed and tried to redirect her thoughts.

“I have made all applicable suggestions at my disposal. You two are free to do as you please. However, Master, please do not come to me to complain when this blows up in your face as things tend to.” Luxion said before he floated away.

“Tch, what a jerk.” Leon groaned before he stepped back into the tea room with Angie.

Livia hadn’t moved from her spot in the slightest. She did however look up at the two with embarrassment and a slight pout of shame. The corners of her mouth were stained with crumbs. Some had even fallen over her chest and likely between her cleavage. “I tried to wait for you two to come back, but I got hungry…I’m sorry.” She apologized with her head lowered. A glance at the table showed that many of the snacks had almost been finished off. Each plate only had two or four snacks left.

Livia had eaten in their absence, but she made sure to save some for them. Leon and Angie felt their hearts throb. Livia still had the same heart, no matter how much she weighed. Gluttony was no match for her innocent nature. The two didn’t say anything, though. They went to Livia’s sides and picked up some of the remaining snacks.

These snacks were promptly fed to Livia. She blushed as her closest friends filled her cheeks with the delectable treats. She tried to ask what they were doing, but snacks were simply stuffed past her lips every time she opened her mouth.

In the end, Livia decided she would thank her friends for treating her so nicely once they stopped feeding her.
