I'm finally putting into action a story I have wanted to write for a while
The basic premise is as follows. Rolling Hills is like a retirement facility but you can get there at any age. When I first thought of it, it was like a sign up thing? Sort of like those space colonies right now. Each person gets their own condo. Nice living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, front and back lawn. The house is equipped with an AI system that can run everything. Also neat robot arms to help people out. The people earn money by just living their lives and gaining weight. There's also an integrated online community message board (social media) and some people sell clips of themselves. On the year anniversary of someone moving in their updated weight and a congratulatory message is posted. This is also a place to announce events and parties too. From a reader or selected character perspective they get there and spend the whole first year just being a recluse and gaining weight. They even skipped out on listening to the whole spiel about amenities and this online system. After one year their weight is posted and suddenly EVERYONE knows they're there and want to meet up with them
Shenanigans ensue
The above is some old copy and paste. Basically reader lives there for a year, suddenly gets outed, and everyone wants to meet them.
