She thought she would have tanned more from her time on the beat, but her skin was still a fair shade. Carmine had always dreamed of taking down crooks, criminals, and big mob bosses. Such dreams always came with a losing hand. That was the very hand she had been dealt today, and no amount of folding would get her out of it.
