Jackie blinked. Something wasn't right… She turned her head, and her surroundings were entirely different. She rubbed her eyes, but nothing changed. She had only knocked a few locks of brown hair in front of her eyes.
The hallway she had previously been in differed significantly from the one she stared at now. The white walls were covered in yellow wallpaper, and the white tile floors that clacked under her shoes had been transformed into damp carpet. Then there was the sound… Harsh fluorescent lights buzzed noisily above her and didn't seem to illuminate the room as much as she wanted them to.
