Added 2018-10-22 08:49:51 +0000 UTCYou might remember that a lot of phones in the past have had the ability to do this. Basically, a variation of the the new "Flip to Shhh" mechanic has existed for a long time on various Android phones in the past.
But now Google has made it "cool", and gave it a "cool" name, so people find it "cool" again :D
So, when XDA posted this (a Tasker profile that does the same thing) people jumped all over it, and you can really tell!
Look at the graph above! That's the Taskernet server activity. Right around XDA posted about it, activity on the server went through the roof, and the project is now sitting at almost 6500 views!
Google has learned the lession from Apple: giving something old a cool new name and people will be all over it :P
