The current state of Tasker and my other apps

Just wanted to let everyone know how Tasker's development is doing and why there's a delay with releases lately in case you were wondering. In case you didn't know, Tasker had been having a lot of beta updates, but then they suddenly stopped since the new year. Here's why:

• Google+ is shutting down soon and it dawned on me that all my apps point to it as support links where people can get help from the community. If I didn't do anything about it, a lot of people would get confused/angry and probably start leaving 1 star reviews for the apps, because they couldn't get the help they needed.
• Because of the above, I plan on updating at least my major apps before the G+ shutdown
• There's a problem though: I need to update every single app to target at least API 26. This is probably not a big deal for most apps, but can be quite problematic for some. For this reason I can't simply update the support link and update the app on Google Play. Some work is always needed for every app.
• I need to remove some permissions from some of my apps because of the recent SMS/Call  permission debacle. I haven't gotten Google's final response on apps other than Tasker, so I need to take precautions.
• There's a very significant issue with updating App Factory right now. To put it simply, the latest Android build tools are incompatible with it, so I need to find a workaround to make it work. Unfortunately I can't afford to lose time on it right now because of the aforementioned reasons
• On top of all of this, the Tasker Beta itself is acting up for some users so I've been privately trying to fix all kinds of issues in Tasker with them

So, to put it bluntly, Tasker has to be put in the backseat until I get all of the above done. Let me know if you have any questions about this!
