In the meanwhile I have discovered that this is caused by blocking of third-party cookies, if I enable those, everything works fine. Might be useful to show some kind of warning when this error is detected.

Just leaving this here for anyone who might have the same issue. This worked for me before, but when I access the site now, I get the following error in Firefox: "Unexpected Error: CSSStyleSheet.cssRules getter: Not allowed to access cross-origin stylesheet in file https://testsjoaomgcd.appspot.com/v2/app.js<br><br>Trace:<br>load@https://testsjoaomgcd.appspot.com/v2/app.js:50:26<br>"
