Thu'mii
Added 2019-02-05 08:06:11 +0000 UTCWell, that Gods game I was in kind of imploded in a fit of pique, but not after my god of darkness Thu'um had started hand-crafting his own race of shadow lizards, the Thu'mii.. and I had started conceptualizing and drawing an example.
I haven't played Shadow of the Colossus, but I saw the white-tailed lizards and was kinda taken with their general design/color arrangement, and decided to use that as a base.. black/dark scaled reptilians with pale tails and protrusions. And I'd taken them from human stock and was gonna alter them over millenia, so of course the females were gonna have boobs. Can't NOT have that :D
They were gonna live underground mostly and basically be underdark rangers and surface scouts. They were gonna develop crystal/gem magic, and master forging the shadow-infused adamantium called Shadowsteel I'd created in a previous age, and guard the magical fast-travel tunnels that had appeared all about the underdark.
Who knows, maybe the game will pick back up when the storyteller gets out of whatever part of his manic/depressive cycle they're in. Probably not, but we'll see. Either way, I have the beginnings of what I think is a neat idea, and I'm gonna keep it in mind for the future.
