Part alchemist, part scientist, part occultist. A new sect of humanity has awakened to expand human understanding through new and unstudied technologies. The Surgeons are in direct contention with the Faiths/royalty and have secret deals with certain unaligned Knights on the acquisition of dragon cadavers for study. The WYRM will be subdued through the sciences.

there is great interest in those two. those humans who survive WYRM consumption and live will become exceptional creatures who defy current understanding, their scientific study is an imperative.
