Unfortunately, I have to agree. While some aspects of the design are nice, I appreciate the slanted eyes and the noises he makes are fantastic, all of that was limited by suitmation, and we never got to see him really shine. Imagine tendrils growing out of his body at random, him generating a second head, the possibilities are endless if he ever shows up again!

The design concept ran up hard against the limitations of special effects of the time-one of the few designs that could have been better as CGI. Still, your rendition is suitably eldritch and horrific, and the red tendrils are a great addition. :)
