After SCHISM much of the archived genealogy of the proto-godlings and wild experiments started by the Original Intelligence was lost. Even the oldest of the Godheads do not have a complete picture on their species origins; the First Weapon’s isolationist decree set back the advancement of the newly formed reality by eons. The experiment was left to its own devices and its inhabitants evolved in a way outside of the original guidelines. The most relevant of the deviations was of course the Infernal strains but another offshoot of the first ingredients became the painted faces/masked ones/Hellquins.
Not quite devil and not fully angel these beings were unique from most life, they were not created by The Source to be a natural part of creation but made by the Angels before SCHISM, The first Golems made apart from Gods perimeters by inquisitive First Weapons. They were designed to be palace dancers, marionette dolls, entertainers of the architects of reality during their off-time between planet-building and sun farming. The original court jesters of the Angelic principalities, made to entertain and sometimes give them a new perspective on reality, pushing their boundaries.
When the SCHISM ruined reality and their masters retreated from real-space (or were expelled into the lower vibrations) these angel constructs were left alone in the backstage spaces of creation, isolated from the evolving Gods and Demons (and lower vibration sentients) who grew and adapted with their sparks of creation. The original Hive-Palaces of the old angelic order were left empty and dark in ruin, the synthetically concocted palace entertainers were left without purpose. Stagnant.

Witch genes are at their core a spiritual infection. A witch did not need to be human to become a witch, many species can become them if touched by those primordial predatory female’s Magik/energies. The introduction of a “black goddess” or “blood queen” in a culture is a sure signs of Hag infections beginning to take hold. Hessians began harvesting pure witch material during the DIS Jihads where Infernals fought each other after SATAN’S assassination to take control over all Infernal space, naturally the nobles below him ripped all the Hell realms into fiefdoms and what was supposed to be a quick conflict to regain stability became the most brutal demon on demon conflict since the First Crimson Age. And in the bodies of the Hessians themselves there is this soul/DNA of the hag, for their use. How did their first attempts at combining go? And what types of hag are used as bio-weapons and what future unseen units of the Conglomerate Branches?
