SkelonAnimationPlayer Beta1: One key transpose your fbx character animation to Timeline animation.

Today, I brought a very powerful tool, which is used to transform ordinary character animation in the market into high-quality character animation in Timeline. This process is also very simple.

How to use:

It should be noted that you need to have a simple understanding of unity's animation system.

1. Import your character fbx animation into unity, and use the T-Pose provided by me as the skeleton to ensure that the character animation can be played normally(Don't worry if you find that you can't be compatible with T-Pose, you can also use the model's own bones, as long as it is compatible with unity's own humanoid bones.).

 You may make some settings for the imported animation as shown below.

2. According to the video demonstration. Export animation as CUA.

3. In VAM, mount "SkelonAnimationPlayer.cslist" on the character, and then import the CUA package just now through the plug-in.

4. Make sure all joints are activated (as shown in the figure), select any animation and click Record (or click Record All directly, and the plug-in will automatically transcribe all animations).

The recorded file is saved in "Saves\PluginData\animations\zhuanlu".

5. Just import. json through Timeline (version 283 or later).

Which version of Unity do you suggest we use?

I’ve been waiting for this! I haven’t tried it yet, but it looks like it will be fun since it provides more options for animation production. Since I mainly use VaM for video creation, environmental plugins are extremely helpful. I wanted to use the Advanced Interactive Terrain Dynamic Overlay for my New Year’s video, but I couldn’t find the file. In the future, I’m looking forward to further improvements in sunlight effects for Atmosphere, more variations for SkyDome, and advancements in liquid simulation!
