It's been a while since we haven't posted anything new on the channel, but please be assured that we have a few projects in the works set to be released in the following weeks.
Today we're sharing a glimpse of a portrait we are making of animator & illustrator Mai Yoneyama. After starting her career at Gainax as an animator, her talent now ranges between animation, illustration, character design and art. We'll look at her creative mindset, her mesmerizing style she's expressed over multiple renowned animation works, including more recently the ending of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners series. Out next month!
Mai Yoneyama will also be a guest at our first original event "Archipel Caravan", held in Tokyo from December 15th - December 17th, 2023. She will hold a panel talk together with Shingo Tamagawa, the animator behind "PUPARIA" (who we've also covered on Archipel a few years ago).
