I'm not necessarily disappointed but yeah after listening to the Green Knight episode this week where Dave specifically mentioned being bummed that he probably wouldn't see Shang Chi for a couple of months it was a bit of a surprise to see SC as the featured review. That said if the guys all managed to find a way to see it in a way that felt safe to them I can't begrudge them at all, even if like you I'm not comfortable going back, at least not until I can go to a theater that has a vaccine mandate (which will never happen since I live in TX, sigh). It looks like they address the topic in the After-Dark (I don't typically listen to these until the weekend), so it'll be interesting to see what they say

Matt

Disappointed to see this episode come out now instead of when Shang Chi releases on streaming despite all the talk from Dave and Jeff especially on the show and After Darks recently about how they probably won't be seeing movies in theatres for a while. I'm not comfortable going back yet, and with delta on the rise everywhere I think encouraging people to go into theatres is... not a great choice.
