Comments

Jeff continuing to not understand La La Land. "Why is this magic drama giving them what they wished for in the form of a bitter pill?!"

Mountain of Conflict

Dave's point about working a corporate job while making creative content reminded me of something that author Brandon Sanderson said. To paraphrase it, the best job for a writer is probably something like being a brick layer. His point is that when we are only focused on our creative output, the quality of our work suffers. Having a "mindless" job outside of our area of creative focus is not only financially stabilizing, it also focuses our creativity.
