CARPENTER BRUT - TURBO KILLER

HOT DAMN this was a trip to make. I've been super hesitant about making stuff like this is the past because there's this particular intensity to tracks like Turbo Killer - the original artist, carpenter brut, is VERY good at taking what would otherwise sound like a buttrock riff and turning it into this beast of a track.
Seriously, I can't properly convey to you how intimidating it was to cover this track and similar tracks like Roller Mobster. Anything that deviates too far from the original formula COMPLETELY DESTROYS the intensity of the track. IT HAS to be faithful, otherwise it falls flat and sounds bad.
So here we are, I present to you my take on this track. It's still mostly synthwave, but I added as many metal elements as I could without taking away anything too drastic. It's been ridiculous trying to get somewhere close to a convincingly emulated sound. So many sawtooths and compressors...
I know I'm rambling - sorry about that. I hope y'all enjoy the cover!!
