I'm all for a change of strategy. Someone is going to notice all of those missing ships, and other patrols will be on alert for any inconsistencies. Koda has gotten a lot of level xp from these ambushes, but he needs to get more experience in waterbending. A failed attack due to such an alert with SWT casualties could be an impetus to return south. Koda could spend some time doing dedicated training and helping the tribe. If he tries to train more benders, he could even meet Hakoda's kids earlier...

2022-08-23 01:57:47 +0000 UTCYes this is intentional on my part. I want stats to mean a bit more than normal here. His low intelligence stat was working against him in the earlier chapters. He's only now starting to realize that he may have been going on about things a little off. He will start to plan more appropriately as well and begin to make useful connections for the future.
