I've just finished my ratiorine zine piece! There were only a few final touches and a bit of cleanup that I wanted to get done but it's finally wrapped up. I really learned a lot from this and I can't wait to share it.
For now, I'll just be showing one panel of the comic as a teaser and I'll make a post when the zine is available for purchase for those interested.
Update (SORRY YAPPING) :
I'll be working on this month's rewards now and I'm hoping to get everything done before Christmas. I'll have it done before January at the very least. Feel free to DM me with any questions :)
Happy holidays though if I don't see you until then! And thank you so much for your support this year! I'm really the happiest that I've ever been doing art full-time and it's because of everyone in here (as well as cheap rent staying with my parents haha) that I'm able to do it. I worked in data entry for 8 years (age 17-25) and the whole time I was itching to just make art all day instead. So this is really a dream come true.
Like with any job, it has its ups and downs and full disclosure, I really don't feel like I'm good enough to deserve the kind words and the support but I'm still so glad to be here and to be drawing every day.
Whenever I feel like my art sucks, it feels like I'm letting people down and not earning my keep. This is probably quite common for other artists too. But I just tell myself to keep trying and keep learning new techniques until I feel worthy of being here. Improving and learning is what keeps me going a lot of the time. I don't know if it would work for anyone else but whenever your inner voice says 'I suck' sometimes the only answer is 'so I'll do better next time'.
I want to talk more about my plans for next year because I have some big things that I want to try in 2025 (namely starting work on my comic but I'm also thinking of opening a batch of themed commissions and another giveaway) but I'll save that for another time!
Thanks again and sorry for all the yapping. Wishing you a very happy holidays!
